Barbara Hoffa, Daughter of Union Chief, Weds in Detroit

Oct. 21, 1961 - Miss Barbara Hoffa was married today. Her father, James R. Hoffa, president of the Teamsters Union, gave her away. About 700 guests, with the union heavily represented, witnessed her marriage to Robert Crancer, son of a St. Louis steel company executive, and participated later in a lavish club reception. Barbara, 23 years old, and Mr. Crancer, 24, spoke their vows before the Rev. Charles E. Sutton, minister of Central Methodist Church in Detroit. At the huge party afterward, special chefs prepared an elaborate Polish menu.
