Beach Boys’ “Surfin’ U.S.A.” L.P. Hits Record Stores

Mar. 25, 1963 - On sale today is the Beach Boys’ second long-playing album, “Surfin’ U.S.A.” The title track was released as a single earlier this month with “Shut Down” as the B-side. The majority of the album's recording commenced the first week of this year, three months after the release of the group’s first album, “Surfin’ Safari.”
