Mar. 12, 1963 - The Los Angeles Dodgers rallied for two seventh-inning runs today, to beat the St. Louis Cardinals, 4-3. Moose Skowron (pictured), who has five straight hits in the last two exhibition games, led off with a single. Frank Howard’s infield hit, Harry Fanok’s second balk of the inning, a wild pitch, and a force-out grounder on which Dick Groat dropped the ball accounted for an unearned run. Los Angeles’s first run also was unearned. Stan Musial dropped Maury Wills’s first-inning fly. Wills scored from second on Bob Gibson’s wild pickoff attempt.
