Dec. 14, 1962 - Doris Day (left with Rock Hudson) has been named “Number One Feminine Star” of 1962 in Box Office magazine’s annual All-American screen favorites poll. The trade publication announced Thursday that Miss Day was selected through a canvas of the nation’s motion picture editors, radio and television commentators, theater owners, and members of the National Screen Council. Miss Day appeared in two films released this year, “That Touch of Mink” and “Billy Rose’s Jumbo.”
