July 28, 1962 - Ed McMahon (left), the 39-year-old announcer who appears with Johnny Carson on “Who Do You Trust,” will continue to work with the comedian when Mr. Carson becomes the star of NBC-TV’s “Tonight” Show this fall. Mr. McMahon, an ex-Marine who served in World War II and Korea, began working with Mr. Carson in 1957.
