Nov. 28, 1961 - Gene Autry, 52 years old, the Western actor and co-owner of the Los Angeles Angels, has pleaded guilty to a drunken driving charge and paid a $500 fine. He was also given a 10-day suspended sentence and placed on probation for 3 years. The charges resulted from an arrest on May 23.
