Jan. 2, 1962 - George C. Scott will star in a CBS-TV series called “East Side/West Side” starting in the fall of 1963. He will play a New York City social worker. The 34-year-old actor has had major roles in television specials, in the motion pictures “The Hustler” and “Anatomy of a Murder,” and in Broadway plays such as “Comes the Day” and “The Andersonville Trial.”
