Aug. 17, 1963 - Actor Peter Fonda (right), 23-year-old son of Henry Fonda, has been signed to a seven-picture deal with Robert Rossen’s Centaur Productions, for whom he just completed a co-starring role in “Lilith,” in which he appears with Warren Beatty, Jean Seberg, and Gene Hackman. His new contract calls for one film a year for the next seven, and the first will probably be “Bang the Drum Slowly,” based on Mark Harris’s novel. Fonda will be seen later this year in Carl Foreman’s production of “The Victors,” a black-and-white war film with Vincent Edwards and Albert Finney.
