Henry Mancini to Score “Days of Wine and Roses”

July 30, 1962 - Henry Mancini (pictured) has been signed to compose the musical score for “Days of Wine and Roses,” the J.P. Miller drama with Jack Lemmon and Lee Remick. The 38-year-old Mr. Mancini, who won last year’s Academy Award for “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” is also the composer of scores this for this year’s “Experiment in Terror” and “Hatari!” The film documents a married couple’s downward spiral into alcoholism.
