Nov. 13, 1962 - Former President Dwight D. Eisenhower said today that it was “not possible” that former Vice President Richard M. Nixon’s political career had been terminated by his defeat in the California gubernatorial election, “even if he thinks so himself.” “He is an extremely able man” General Eisenhower said, and is certain to be called into the service of the country again.
