Dec. 27, 1962 - Natalie Wood has been signed to star in “Love With the Proper Stranger,” an original screenplay by Arnold Schulman to be produced by Alan Pakula and directed by Robert Mulligan for Paramount release. The story deals with a sales clerk at Macy's department store in New York who finds herself pregnant after a one-night stand with a musician. When she informs the musician, he does not remember her.
