Jan. 30, 1962 - Frank Sinatra has agreed to play the leading role in the Paramount screen version of “Come Blow Your Horn,” the Neil Simon comedy now on Broadway. The actor’s company will co-produce the film with Tandem Productions, an independent company headed by Bud Yorkin and Norman Lear, two TV producers making their feature film debut. Mr. Yorkin, who produced, wrote, and directed the award-winning “An Evening With Fred Astaire” in 1959, will direct the comedy from a screenplay by Mr. Lear. After leaving his parents' home, young Buddy Bakerr (Tony Bill) goes to live with his womanizing older brother (Sinatra) in a posh Manhattan apartment where he learns how to be a playboy.
