Movies: Janet Leigh Signed for "The Manchurian Candidate"

Nov. 30, 1961 - Janet Leigh has been signed to co-star with Frank Sinatra and Laurence Harvey in “The Manchurian Candidate,” a United Artists release to be adapted from Richard Condon’s novel. The picture, due to start production early next year, will be directed by John Frankenheimer from a script by George Axelrod.
