May 3, 1962 - Curt Jurgen, Lilli Palmer (pictured), and Eddie Albert will co-star with Robert Taylor in Walt Disney’s production of “Miracle of the White Stallions.” Arthur Hiller will direct from a script by A.J. Crothers that tells the story of a German Army colonel who saved Austria’s famed Lippizan horses from destruction with the aid of the late Gen. George S. Patton. Filming is scheduled to start next month at the Spanish Riding Academy in Austria, home of the performing horses.
