Dec. 6, 1962 - Kim Novak (left) was signed today for the role of Mildred in the third movie version of W. Somerset Maugham’s novel “Of Human Bondage,” which Seven Arts Productions will put before the cameras on Feb. 15 on location in Dublin. Laurence Harvey (right) has been signed to portray the hero of the MGM release. Henry Hathaway will direct a scenario by Bryan Forbes. Bette Davis, the late Leslie Howard, Eleanor Parker, and Paul Henreid appeared in the previous adaptations of the Maugham novel. The story deals with a medical student who becomes obsessed with his faithless lover.
