Movies: "One, Two, Three"

Dec. 20, 1961 - Today’s new film is “One, Two, Three,” a comedy with James Cagney, Horst Buchholz (pictured), Pamela Tiffin, and Arlene Francis. Billy Wilder directed and produced the Mirisch Company-United Artists presentation, from a scenario by himself and I.A.L. Diamond. The film is primarily set in West Berlin and is based on the 1929 Hungarian one-act play “Egy, kettő, három” by Ferenc Molnár, with a plot borrowed partly from “Ninotchka,” a 1939 film co-written by Wilder.
