Aug. 9, 1961 - Suzanne Pleshette, the young actress who most recently seen on Broadway in "The Miracle Worker," will play opposite Troy Donahue in Warners' "Rome Adventure," which goes before the cameras next month in Italy. The romantic drama film, to be directed by Delmer Daves, is based on the 1932 novel "Lovers Must Learn" by Irving Fineman. Under fire for giving a student her copy of a romance novel, Prudence (Pleshette) resigns from her teaching position and sails for Italy.
