May 10, 1962 - “The Incredible Mr. Limpet,” a comedy with music combining live action and animation, will go into production at Warner Brothers in July. It is based on “Mr. Limpet,” the novel by Theodore Platt. Don Knotts (left), television comedian, will play the title role, with Carole Cook (right) and Jack Weston in other featured roles. The story deals with a man named Henry Limpet who turns into a talking fish and helps the U.S. Navy locate and destroy Nazi submarines.
