Movies: “The List of Adrian Messenger”

Sept. 6, 1962 - John Huston’s next film, “The List of Adrian Messenger,” a multiple-murder mystery with a screenplay by Philip MacDonald, will have a group of prominent players in small roles. The Universal release, now in production in London, features George C. Scott (right), Dana Wynter (left), and Jacques Roux (center) in principal assignments, with character roles played by Tony Curtis, Kirk Douglas, Burt Lancaster, Robert Mitchum, and Frank Sinatra.
