Movies: "Twist Around the Clock" and "Hey, Let's Twist"

Jan. 5, 1962 - Having twisted its way out of Manhattan’s Peppermint Lounge and across the country, the current dance rage will soon appear on the screens of metropolitan movie houses. Leading the parade are Columbia’s “Twist Around the Clock,” due on Jan. 22, and Paramount’s “Hey, Let’s Twist,” another low-budget entry slated for a double-bill unveiling at neighborhood theatres later this month. Columbia, reporting “unusually good” grosses in foreign engagements, has shipped “hundreds” of prints of “Twist Around the Clock” to 41 countries overseas.
