Nov. 21, 1962 - Opening in local theaters today is “Two for the Seesaw,” a romantic drama directed by Robert Wise and starring Robert Mitchum and Shirley MacLaine. It was adapted from the 1958 Broadway play written by William Gibson. The play was produced with Henry Fonda and Anne Bancroft in the lead roles. The story deals with a free-spirited Greenwich Village woman (MacLaine) who hooks up with a brooding Nebraska lawyer (Mitchum).
