NFL: Bears Rally for 21-17 Win over Rams

Sept. 23, 1961 - Billy Wade (pictured), turning on his former teammates, ran for one touchdown and passed for another today as the Chicago Bears rallied for a 21-17 victory over the Los Angeles Rams. Ed Brown, quarterback for the Bears in the first half, threw a 47-yard touchdown pass to Mike Ditka in the first quarter. Wade entered the game in the third period and did the rest.
