Oct. 1, 1961 - The Green Bay Packers staged a hard-hitting offense powered by Jim Taylor and Paul Hornung (pictured) and defeated the Chicago Bears, 24-0, today in the 85th meeting of the NFL rivals. Taylor gained 130 yards rushing and scored on a 3-yard run. Hornung gained 59 yards, kicked a 37-yard field goal and 3 extra points.
