Oct. 15, 1962 - Bart Starr’s passing paced the Green Bay Packers to a 48-21 triumph over the Minnesota Vikings yesterday as the Packers remained the only unbeaten team in the NFL. However, Packer star Paul Hornung (pictured with ball) suffered a knee injury late in the first period. Starr, who completed his first 10 passes, threw 3 touchdown aerials and set 3 other Packer scores with his marksmanship. Hornung, the league’s leading scorer, will have his right knee X-rayed today at Green Bay. He was able to walk but unable to put all his weight on the leg. He said his knee was “sore, but there’s not a great deal of pain.”
