Oct. 19, 1962 - Quarterback Babe Parilli directed the Boston Patriots to 3 second-half touchdowns and a 24-20 American Football League victory today over the San Diego Chargers. The favored Patriots, trailing by 20-3 at halftime, produced their big scoring spree in about 8 minutes. Jim Crawford made the final touchdown at 1:14 of the final period to cap a 68-yard drive in 10 plays. Parilli earlier had tossed touchdown passes of 10 and 25 yards to Jimmy Colclough.
