Dec. 12, 1962 - President Kennedy brought down the house at his press conference today with his comment on “The First Family,” the hit comedy record parodying his voice. “I thought it sounded more like Teddy than it did me.” Teddy is, of course, the President’s younger brother Edward, the new Democratic Senator from Massachusetts. The question put at the conference was whether the President had read the various publications poking fun at him and his family or had heard the record.
