Nov. 25, 1962 - Ralph Houk, the manager of the New York Yankees, recovered today from an attack of acute indigestion and was discharged from Lenox Hill Hospital. Houk immediately left for Rochester to join other Yankee officials at the minor league baseball meetings. Houk was taken to the hospital Saturday night after he had passed out in Leone’s Ristorante shortly after he had finished eating dinner with his wife, Bette, and a son, Robert. Dr. Sidney Gaynor, the Yankees’ team physician, said Houk looked “fine” when he was discharged from the hospital.
