July 13, 1961 - Frank Robinson (pictured right with Vada Pinson) hit his 24th home run in the seventh today and drove in the winning run in the ninth as the Reds beat the Cubs, 4-3. It was only the fifth victory for the National League leaders in 13 games with the 7th-place Cubs. Robinson has driven in 11 runs in the Reds' last 4 games. Jim O'Toole was the winning pitcher.
