July 16, 1961 - Tennessee Ernie Ford (right), who recently left nighttime TV after five years on NBC, has seen his way to daylight on ABC. Mr. Ford will appear on ABC-TV Monday through Friday at a daytime hour yet to be chosen, starting next spring. It will be a half-hour musical variety show. The entertainer may do his telecast from KGO-TV, the network's station in San Francisco, where he resides. According to ABC, this would be the first network show from that West Coast city.
