Aug. 10, 1961 - Tracy Stallard registered his first major-league victory in his 39th mound appearance today as the Red Sox defeated the Twins, 3-2, in Fenway Park. Stallard pitched eight and two-third innings and also recorded his first RBI. The winning run was scored on a single by rookie left fielder Carl Yastrzemski.
