Apr. 27, 1965 - Eddie Albert will star on a new comedy series about a lawyer and his wife who move from the city to a rural community. The working title is “The Eddie Albert Show,” which CBS has scheduled for 9 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesdays, starting next fall. CBS had tentatively scheduled a shot titled “Country Cousins” in that time slot, although no cast had been announced.
Paul Henning, who devised “The Beverly Hillbillies” and “Petticoat Junction” for CBS, will be executive producer of Mr. Albert’s show. It will be produced by Filmways Television Productions.
