June 20, 1963 - On tonight’s series finale of “Leave It to Beaver,” the Cleavers reminisce when June finds a family photo album while cleaning out the cupboard. Hugh Beaumont, who plays father Ward Cleaver, directed the concluding episode of the ABC family comedy. CBS first broadcast the show on October 4, 1957 but dropped it after one season.
