Dec. 20, 1963 - Tonight on “The Alfred Hitchcock Hour,” Gerald Swinney (Bob Newhart, left) is a henpecked husband subjected to the constant verbal abuse of his overbearing wife Edith (Jane Withers, right), who will not give him a divorce. Gerald devises a complex plan to get rid of Edith involving rat poison. The plan goes horribly awry. 10 p.m. on CBS.
